Our infant and toddler program serves children age 6 weeks through 23 months. The children are grouped based on their chronological and developmental age. The infant/toddler classrooms are designed to provide sensory stimulation and to encourage the development of self-help skills. Children are given the opportunity to gain social skills through play. A variety of materials are made available to the children each day, and learning activities are incorporated into the daily schedule. During the first months of a child's life, it is important that they are held and talked to frequently. Our teachers realize this and consciously plan for one on one interaction. Crib babies are only placed in the cribs when they are sleeping. Infants are fed in their classroom and arrangements can be made for mothers who breastfeed. Parents will receive a "Daily Checklist" reflecting their child's day.
